Today's VlogMom topic comes from little old... me.
What's that? I don't look old? Why thank you... I don't think I'm that old either.
However, there are definitely certain things I have outgrown over the years.
Check out the following video for 3 things I think I'm too old for.

CHEERS!

I think that I came out of the womb being too old for cheap beer. Even in my ambitious youth (ahh, the days of needing a buyer), I abstained from crap domestics.
ReplyDeleteWhat I am too old for? I don't think that I have found it yet.
My bedtime is still based upon when I have to get up in the morning, my energy level is higher now than it was when I was in late 20's (I'm just shy of 37 now), I still do General Admission seating (and fight my way to the front row if it's for Trent Reznor)... I'm just too young to be 'old' yet.
I'm just not reckless about it. But then, I wasn't when I was in my 20's, either. Maybe I was just really old, back then?
Good for you, Roberta!! Cheers to aging responsibly! HA!!
DeleteOh, I the 'too old for cheap beer!' Yes. I also love live music, but I'm too old for the crowd crush, body tossing crap. Love it! I'll join the link up later today.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Rajean... I've been stuck in the middle of too many GA fights over trying to keep my spot. Not worth it!!! Neither is the cheap beer.
DeleteLOL! I'm sooo with you on the general admission concert thing. However, I do still frequently still go to GA concerts because I live within a few miles of four no-seats venues that always have fantastic shows (but I do pay for it the next day!). More than anything though, I'm too old for weeknight concerts. Oy. Again, I will still go, but really think about how much I want to see that particular artist. Considering that I get up at 5:00am every day, I am usually a wreck when I go to a weeknight show -- it took me almost a week to recover the last time I went to one. Lame!
ReplyDeleteHa! I love this, and 100% agree with all 3. Also, I like the Kokopelli lamp in the background. I actually have him tattooed on one of my hips. :)
