I love where I live.
Grand Rapids didn't receive the title of Beer City, USA as a fluke. I firmly believe we are one of the best places on earth to find craft-beer.
Over the next couple of weeks, I will be annoying anyone not living within the state limits of Michigan with several posts dedicated to what's going on around Grand Rapids -- or as it shall be referred to the rest of this month: Beer City, USA.
Who knows, maybe my words will entice many of you living outside of Michigan to visit Beer City, USA someday. I know some people, especially those living south of here, fear this time of year in Michigan.
IMHO, February has turned into one of the best months of the year to live in Grand Rapids, because there is no shortage of winter fun!
GR Beer Week Doesn't officially begin until February 18th, but if you inquire within your favorite brewery or restaurant, you may uncover some unique specials & tap-takeovers! Check out all the awesome establishments participating this year!
